We are today delighted to announce the official launch of our latest, and arguably best club website template yet, ‘Excellence’.
Team Websites is dedicated to making the lives of the individuals, who work tirelessly and dedicate their time to grassroots sport, all the more easier – the coaches, committee members, league officials and volunteers.
The new template is a major improvement offering a clean design, potentially faster page speeds, and is fully responsive across all devices.
The welcome section has received a complete makeover, where you can now populate this section with an optional welcome message from perhaps your club chairperson. It features a brand new, slick auto-play slider, containing all your latest news and teams’ results in a structured and professional format.
Rather than settling for one prescribed layout for your club website, you can now choose from five club website templates. Unlike our competitors, we do not charge by the number of teams your club has on its books, neither do we limit the selection of our templates. All layouts are flexible and versatile, offering a complete solution to manage your club online, and one which is both responsive and fully customisable – change colours, upload your club logo and more!
As before, the strip containing information and contact details of your Club and County’s safeguarding officers remains, if youth clubs have correctly ticked this option, found within the Template Configuration area of the website admin panel. Likewise, the popular upcoming fixtures and latest 4 results rows remain.
Even customise your website’s header. ‘Excellence’ gives webmasters the opportunity to customise the design of their header with 3 different styles to choose from – choose a header which incorporates your club’s identity and colours, or choose a minimal look and feel. On desktop, a search bar has been added, above the existing header row, to improve navigation between the various pages on your club website.
Have an online club shop which is not hosted by Team Websites? No problems, simply go to the Template Configuration section of your admin panel and select Header – add the external URL in the box provided.
We hope you like the new template. We will be rolling out some provisionally final few changes over the coming weeks; we also appreciate all feedback received. Keep those feature suggestions coming, and also keep an eye out for a blog post in the near future announcing new features.
